One tweeter or all on SDA?

I think I may have posted my question on replacement on the wrong section.
Replacing a tweeter on the SDA 2.3TL do these things have a break in time that makes a difference from one side to the other? I have seen tweeters that are far friendlier than others, the Seas used in Blue Heron 2's take about 700 hours to sweeten up, I wouldn't dream of replacing just one side but then they only have one per side so it would be a glaring difference.
Anyone here tried both ways?

You aren't done with wire and ready for upgrades and other tweaks until you are totally done with wire.

I have not tried both ways, but if you have the original sl3000's in now you'd be wise find another sl3000 and not drop in the newer RD0-198.2-Channel: PC > Schiit Eitr > Audio Research DAC-8 > Audio Research LS-26 > Pass Labs X-250.5 > Magnepan 3.7's

Or better yet, replace both SL3000's with the more refined RDO198-1.VTL ST50 w/mods / RCA6L6GC / TlfnknECC801S

I upgraded SDA SRS 2's with 2 tweeters per cabinet. The top tweeter in each cabinet produces the majority (perhaps 90%) of the highs and I experimented by replacing just those two top tweets.
Unfortunately, it just didn't sound right until I replace the lower two with matching new tweeters. I know your 2.3TL's are an entirely different speaker, but my guess is you will find it best to shell out the 6 X $48 for all ew RDO198-1's, or keep the SL3000's in place as is.VTL ST50 w/mods / RCA6L6GC / TlfnknECC801S

Woodguru, I also have the 2.3TL's with ALL upgraded RDO-198-1's. I replaced them pair by pair and noticed a nice upgrade with each replacement. Try this- Buy (2) RDO's and replace the top tweeter's on each speaker. These are the workhorse tweeter's and you will find the most gain and equal sound. For the future though, get them replaced, broken in and never look back....amazing!
