Up for sale is a pair of sweet Signature Series H/K pieces from the early 1990's. Only selling because I don't need a third system, despite what I keep telling myself (must fight the demons inside).

First up is the AP2500 pre-amp. I don't know much about it as there isn't much literature out there on the internet. It's a shame, really, since this is a great quiet and musical basic pre that really sounded great with all speakers I ever threw at it (LSi's, Monitors, Infinity, RTi's). Two sets of pre-outs for bi-amping as well as a MM/MC phono input. I didn't use it all that much since I purchased it from the original owner, but in great shape overall. A few scratches on the top cover and minor imperfections on the face. Remote was not an option with this pre. Looking for $60 plus shipping

Next is the PA2200 amp from the same series. Paired with the pre-amp, it makes sweet and smooth music that H/K is famous for. More toward the warm side of the spectrum but still has plenty of that dynamic punch that I like. It's listed as 100w x 2 and it sounds every bit as powerful as any 100w Adcom or Rotel I've ever heard. A solid amp that's a great step up from the amps on almost any receiver. It has a few small blemishes on the faceplate, but nothing noticeable unless within a foot. Looking for $100 plus shipping.

Buy both for $145 plus shipping and have a nice matched starting point for a newcomer or 2nd/3rd system :)
