I have a local line on a MicroPro 3000 for $380 out the door. It's kinda scuffed up and is missing the remote and manual, but it funtions perfectly. I would be using it in my 2 channel system for music.

So... deal or no deal????

It's a great deal if it was in good condition with the remote. It all depends if you can accept the condition.

I don't mind using it in its below-average condition at all; I'm just thinkin about the resale factor when I want to move on. Hmmm, maybe I can talk him down a little more to make sure I can get my money back down the road...

Not a bad deal; they used to go for that in Polk's ebay store, but that was before something made them realize the prices were too low.

You can probably get a remote from Polk, maybe free.

I bought a mP3k from one of Polk's auctions, and was impressed with the better, lower bass response than the mP1k. Unfortunately the sub was defective (popping noises) when I turned up the volume to the same level as the mP1k was previously played at, so I had to send it back...
