Thanks Polkitup2,
On your sub at 50hz are the lows tight and punchy? What is your set-up?Main Rig:

dhart - I had my dual 1000's set at 80Hz via the receiver, seemed to work great with the front RTi70's and CSi40.
But to be clear, this setup was primarily used for HT/movies, not 2-channel listening. Sorry if this info is not of much use...Main HT:JVC DLA-RS45135" Elite Screens fixed frame, 1.1 gainMarantz SR7007 (operating as pre-pro)Emotiva XPA-1 x3 (L+C+R), UPA-7 (surrounds)Oppo BDP-103D/BDP-83Toshiba HD-XA2Panamax M5410 Pro x3Polk LSiM707s, LSiC706, 80 F/X-LS, 65-RTSeaton Sound/MCCA MFW "Turbo" + custom Dayton SA1000 sub amp (orig. Depends on the material, most of what of I listen to the sub isn't used much. It blends nicely with my system. It took some tweaking with an SPL meter to get it positioned and adjusted right. At first I didn't think it was working, but once I got it dialed in all was well. I currently have the volume set to 30. -
Thanks for your response Mak99, I'll be using the 2000 for 2-ch listeningMain Rig:

I just got my MP2000 delivered today, you mentioned that once you got it dialed in, all was well.
How does one "dial it in?" How do you go about getting the settings right?Main Rig:

Can anybody help me approach setting up this sub for the proper bass resultsMain Rig:

I used an SPL meter and did test frequency sweeps to find the cross-over frequency, phase, and volume setting that provided the flattest response. For two channel listening you want your sub to take over where your LSi7s start to roll off in low end frequency response. The LSi7s lower frequency is 45 - 53 Hz so I would set the Micropro sub crossover at 60 Hz to start.
