Thinking about upgrading from klipsch. Do Monitor 30 sound tinny too?
Ok, I bought the M40's (wife wouldn't let me get floor standers as I wanted the M70 sooo bad!), CS2 center, OWM3 surrounds, HSU VTF-2 all powered by a Pio Elite SC-25. Setup ROCKS!
Now that the family room is done... I now need to upgrade my system in computer room. I currently have a Onkyo 607 powering a Klipsch Quintet III set + Klipsch Sub 10. I love the sound so much of the M40's as they're much fuller sounding than the mini quintets. My question is: If I upgraded my computer room to M30's front/rear + CS1 center and keep the sub, am I getting a good upgrade for $250 shipped from Newegg? I'm worried that the M30's will sound "tinny" as they're missing a driver compared to the M40's. I really don't have the room for the M40's in my computer room...
