I still stand up, remove my hat and place my hand over my heart when the flag passes by, and I sing when the National Anthem is played. Around the fourth it seems more people do the same, and that's allright by me.

GREAT cables, GREAT karma. In Please.

July 4th, Independence Day. A day should be celebrating our independence from an oppressive government halfway around the world; it's turned into hot dogs, hamburgers, picnics, etc. Too much farting around and not enough reflection, IMO. Guess this will make me very popular~

Oh heck, I'm in. I look deep into my beer on the 4th, then read some Locke, and think about how the very idea of such a nation as this scared the bejeesus out of a lot of people.

    In please...

Spent the day walking in our local parade, then on to the BBQ, friends and family. Finished off with a nice display of fireworks in the neighborhood. A fantastic day.

Thank you to all who have contributed to the freedom we enjoy!

While the expression of patriotism may be different for each individual the whole year round, I sense that fourth of July draws all Americans together in a true spirit of celebration. America IS great and god willing the fourth of July will forever remain a day for us all to recognize it.

    Great Karma!
    Great responses!

    Sounds good to me...

In please. The 4th of July was my son's mother's birthday. She died almost two years ago. On a lighter note, even though I'm Canadian, the 4th for me represents an expression of a change in how democracy worked. A few brave men said no to the status quo and changed the world forever.

    In Please.

The forth of July represents to me how much the founding fathers fought to have a better life in the new world. Well there is no more "new worlds" to fight for, only the one we are standing on. I hope that the sleeping giant has been awakened. The current regime is driving the US into the ground. That is all I will stop at that.

I hope this is not to radical for the forum.

    Thanks everyone, and especially H9.

I've heard Ben's Silver IC's, and heard about his speaker cable but never had a chance to buy/try them out!

Can't wait til they get here, but these would definitely be an upgrade over my Terminator 6's :p

    No problem Freddy.

You'll have to decide which works better for you, MIT's or Silver cables. Don;t assume anything ;).

    True,
I guess it's just because I know my MITs are an older model and at the lower end but we'll see how silver plays a part in my system :)
