I would like thoughts on a A/V Processor

I was lucky enough to get a B&K 200.7 for a great price.I am using the amp with an Emotiva UMC-1 as I bought it to mate to my XPA-5.I am most likely going to sell the EMO's as a pair and will need a processor.I don't mind a preowned unit if it has hdmi onboard.I know going preowned will let me buy an upper end unit for less money.Anthem,Lexicon etc... are out of my price range if new.I will not buy a receiver and just use the pre's on it.Please tell me what you guys use/think.It has to be 7.1 for possible future expansion.I would love to stay under $2500 on this piece.Happy 4th of July to all..     Have you tried using the UMC1 with the B&K? The UMC1 is brand new isn't it?

    Yes, I am currently using this combo.I have someone interested in the EMO combo.They talk okay together.If I cannot find a reasonably priced processor
    I will continue to run the two together.Thanks for the input. Eddie

    I was checking around on getting a used processor and looking into the Integra line and noticed Emotiva also makes a processor. Found out also that there was a problem with the Emotiva processor, not sure if they had a recall on them or what. Now I'm wondering if I should just hold off and wait to see if someone comes out with a processor that can handle the upgraded 3D HDMI . Anyone have any input to add?

    I'm not a basher of any gear but it appears the EMO UMC1 is going through some growing pains right now. I was interested in one for my HT but decided to sit on the sidelines until and if all the issues with UMC1 are resolved.

    Sometimes you will find these with the HDMI upgrades sometimes not. But you have an Oppo, so no problems with 7.1 sound. Personally I prefer the analogs over HDMI.

    it's not here yet :( i sold my player so i don't even have anything decent to try out my new speaks on. I f*%#k &d up. Now i will have a new player and new speaks so i wont really know which is blowing my hair back the most. I'm pretty sure my old Monitor 70's wouldn't have done the Nuforce justice though.

    I think i might have a deal soon on my avr300 so the av9 is hopefully gonna be in the mix too. It will be sensory overload!
