Not that I care that much, other than a good game.

Brazil vs. Netherlands game was awesome this morning. Kaka went koo-koo, that for sure.
I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie.

Kaka did okay, it was Felipe Melo that better join a Witness Protection program.

    Don't ban me, bro.

Absolutely BRUTAL. I would not want to be a Ghana fan right now.
I never had it like this where I grew up. But I send my kids here because the fact is you go to one of the best schools in the country: Rushmore. Now, for some of you it doesn't matter. You were born rich and you're going to stay rich. But here's my advice to the rest of you: Take dead aim on the rich boys. Get them in the crosshairs and take them down. Just remember, they can buy anything but they can't buy backbone. Don't let them forget it. Thank you.Herman Blume - Rushmore

In all fairness, that last foul that led to Suarez taking one for the team- it was a phantom foul. The Ghanaians were just diving all over the place and crawling around just like they did against the U.S.
But still, that's just a hammer-shot to the gut.

Uruguay will sorely miss him and their #4 defender against the Dutch, so it's a Pyrrhic victory.

yea a force field kept the ball out of the net not Suarez's hand, he knew he did it, but mostly instinct, and his team won and moves on, harsh rule, but I like it.

Talk about choking, Ghana gagged big time, well, the players did. Still they beat the US and got to the quarters, they are one of the more exciting teams, but still..........

    Interested in tomorrow's games Germany--Argentina

I meant the foul call that led to the free kick that led to the handball that led to...man, you know. :D
If Argentina / Germany are half that good, this will be one Copa for the books.( And I think they will.)
That match was what a final should be. 90 minutes of end-t0-end, and then when they're sucking wind after another 30, a finish like that.

If Maradona's was the Hand of God, and Thierry Henry's was the Hand of Frog, I wonder what they'll call Suarez's.

Hoping for Diego's boys to woop the panzer. But somehow I got a feeling it would be the other way around.

    Still, viva argentina.

Think the Germans like to fight????

I can only imagine if they were going against the French.

All the except France have played proudly. I expect the Argentines to stand tall and give it all they have.

I read somewhere the Germans are using 3 American fitness trainers, which is brilliant in a possible 6-match tournament.
At any age from 8 to adult, even if the players are fit, it gets brutal after 3 games, and fitness figures as a huge factor.
I don't know if they were huffing oxygen, but you could just tell when both sides walked on the field the Germans looked fresh as flowers. Spain may have more talent, but just based on fitness, I'd say it's Germany's tournament to lose at this point.
