A Small Score!

I put the finishing touches on my mancave rig. The room's primary uses are for poker and sports games with the guys. This said, I had been hunting a modest 5.1 rig to sound good at lower volumes but pump when I needed it to.

Up until last night, I needed only to wire a sub. My local CL revealed a smoking deal on a Sunfire. I called the owner and set a time to view it and have a listen. I was expecting a Mark II but when I saw the sub in it's original packing, it was much smaller...tiny. I had came across the Super Junior. I handed cash to the lady (seller) and ran home with my new toy.

I hooked the tiny box up with the rest of my system and hit the switch. I was blown away! I have yet to really let loose with it as I would like to allow a break in period but dang this tiny box sounds nice...at lower volumes, it really wants to give my SVS a run for it's money. The bass is deep and very detailed.

Best part...I payed $150.00! :D

As an owner of a Junior, it doesn't get the respect it deserves considering it's size and price. But for a bill fiddy? WHAT?? Insanity. I'm contemplating selling mine but more for the 400-450 range...
