what speakers to match with RC 85is or MC85s?
Hello everyone:
I am new to the forum and would appreciate some advice.
I am putting together a home theater in my finished basement which is open and approximately 900 square feet.
At least for now, we are looking to go with 3.1 (two front speakers, a central channel and a powered subwoofer).
I have an Onyko TXSR 608 home theater receiver;
a Samsung LN55C630 55" 1080p LCD HDTV w/ 120 HZ and a
Samsung BDC6500 high def bluray player
We are not looking to break the bank but want to have a nice sounding system for both movies and music.
My installer suggested the 2 fronts should be in wall.
I am considering the RC85i or the MC85i. Which would you recommend and why?
If I were to go with the RC85i, which regular central channel speaker (non-wall/non-ceiling) would best voice-match the RCs? What about the MCs?
Regarding a subwoofer, which Polk would work best, again without breaking the bank?
An alternative that was recommended by a retailer was the Infinity PS210 because it is onsale for $299 has has great output.
I am very confused so any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
