Center Speaker mods?

Hey, I've a 37" Panny LCD on my bedroom and there's little room to position CS10 center speaker.
I could install a wall shelf above tv but I really want to place it under TV but with angled base makes it unstable.
I could fashion some angled thing in plywood to fill out design chamfer but I'd like to hear another ideas if you have faced similar challenges.
Cabinet seems sturdy enough to support 20-30 lbs but not sure about it. I'm guessing Polk doesn't put out load stress results because it's probably not meant to be used that way...
