Wow - my utility bill rocks!

In the month of June we added the attic fan and I programmed the thermostat to vary the temperature throughout the day...
In the month of May I paid 184 - that is electric, water, sewer, trash, etc
In the month of June I need to pay 115!!! And I used more water in this time period --- I used the same amount of electricity as I did in October where the AC hardly ever runs...
Thanks everyone for their suggestions! They worked!
Also this billing history was 7 days longer than the previous!

Mine is more of an exhaust fan - it keeps the attic at 100 degrees instead of 1,000,000 degrees. You can actually work up there in the middle of the day- Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit.

Yeah, I found out last week that mine is borked. I gotta install a new thermostat.
Attic fans, best $150 you'll ever spend on your house!
Now you just gotta get a whole house fan. Extends that no AC period by a month or two!

Yeah, I have two fans. But I have a 1249 square foot attic so it's quite large and one fan wasn't enough. So I have two mushroom fans and two barrel vents.Expert Moron Extraordinaire
