My girlfriend got me a nice 8 inch digital photo frame for my birthday yesterday. I love it and am curious where most of you have yours?

Also do you keep yours on all the time?

    Same place I'd put a normal photo-frame :)

Had one on each end table, and a couple on my bookshelf to give you a few ideas.

    Happy Belated Birthday btw!

I know this will sound wacky (though I'm sure someone has thought about it before)... but you know how people put signs in their home theater that say "DTS-HD", "THX", etc.? I was thinking about getting a digital picture frame just to have it loaded with images of those signs and rotate through them. Thought it would be a nice touch and look really cool with the room dark.

We have 3 in our house - the living room, the kitchen, and our masterbath.

My wife does all the chip loading with all sorts of family pictures she is snapping away. I think they are way cool.

Gave a pair to my parents who love them too!

They are constantly on. We tossed one brand, though - it would always stop rotating the pictures and default out to the 'canned' pictures that came with the frame. The same chip in another frame worked fine. Not all digital frames are equal!

Erik, what was the brand that sucked and what are the ones that work well? Just wondering in case I follow through with my digital frame idea above.

I'll check which ones we have now - not sure on the ones that we...well...got rid of.

Mine is a Kodak and love how I can set it to come on and turn off at certain times which is cool going to bed with it off and waking up to see pictures.

The frames we have that are reliable are the Invion brand.

Search for posts by "KASR." Either you or he posted it in one of his threads.

I have a nice big "Paradigm Reference" poster that he did for me. :)

If I minded, I wouldn't have told any of ya'! :D

I honestly don't know what made me think of it. I've just never seen anyone do it, and I think it would look kinda' slick. Especially these brushed silver looking pics:
