I was listening to a movie and some TV last night through my center channel. The woofer on the left and tweeter sounded fine, but the right woofer sounded like it was muffled or on a completely different frequency. Is this normal?

IIRC, it's polk's cascade tapered array. Each woofer is supposed to handle different frequencies as you said.
