Rear placement of FXiA4s
Hi, I just purchased a pair of FXIA4's, however my current room layout has some restrictions. I do not have two side walls only one due to current open concept area. My concern with mounting them on the rear walls behind the listening position is that the the main woofers will be firing away from the main listening position and not have a wall for sound deflection (at least the rear right).
I have heard that if being mounted on rear walls I can switch their orientation and place the right speaker in the left position and vice versa so that both woofers are firing inwards towards the main seated area, I will also set them in bipole mode. The main listening area is about 12x14 feet, the actual room is about 12 x 24 feet.
Can anybody confirm that it is fine to do so, thanks for your help in advance.
