LSiFX with With RTi fronts?

Would there be any issues using the LSiFX surrounds with RTi fronts due to the difference in the impedance between the speakers? I'm using a Harman Kardon Signature 2.1 amp to power my speaker which drives 100 WPC into 8 ohms, and 150 WPC into 4 ohms (very conservatively rated as HK tends to do).

Thanks

IMO, No, there shouldnt be an issue as the surrounds provide ambient sounds, and not AS important in a 5.1 set-up.

    No.

100W/8 is more than enough for rears, hardly any sound actually comes out of the rears.

I guess my real question is....are there any issues involved with hooking a pair of 4ohm speakers up to the same amp and/or receiver as a set of 8 ohm speakers?

Just do an auto calibration and it will be safe

Right now I use polk rti8 as surrounds and it sounds quite good considering my fronts are all electrostats .I have to respectfuly disagree with surrounds not being as important as the fronts though

Surround sound speakers used to be just for ambience but now they are becoming equaly important as studios are incorporating alot more into the mix . When I watched the GREENZONE last week I could realy tell that I need electrostats for surrounds and it shame'd my rti8

no your amp should be able to run it just fine.
