I watched the documentary on VH1 on Saturday and was in heaven. Next to the Beatles, my favorite band....plus they're still touring and recording. I'd give anything to be able to go see them on the tour that starts today but, alas, living in Alaska has its downside sometimes. I flew down to Portland to see them in 2007 and it was well worth the expense. Hopefully, I'll be able to catch them after they release their new album in 2011.

Definately going to pick this documentary up on Blue Ray after work today. Long live RUSH!!!!!!!

Oh, and if anyone can offer me a plausible explanation as to why they're not in the R&R Hall of Fame I'm all ears.

I just picked this up, and will be watching it tonight. I watched it 2x last weekend, but I missed the 1st hour both nights, so I said screw it, and bought the damn thing:p
From what I've seen of this, it appears that Neil still doesn't accept that he is a drumming deity. Of all the overblown egos in the music industry, I find it very ironic this guy has self esteem issues:eek:

Go----you won't regret it. I caught then on this tour last summer in Columbus. I am planning on road tripping again in April to Louisville to see them.

I've got the Blu-ray coming from Netflix tomorrow - looking forward to watching it.

Hoping this may rekindle some love for Rush. I was a huge fan in the late 80's and early 90's while in high school and college. Had all their stuff up through Moving Pictures, then my collection skipped to Hold Your Fire, Presto, and Roll the Bones (saw them live for those 3 tours - good times!).

I just remembered some guys in college poking at me for having "the CD with the naked guy on the cover" - Hemispheres. They just didn't understand .

I forgot about that! IIRC the LP was in better shape than the jacket, although the jacket wasn't that bad. It was a great sounding RL pressing too.
