Speaker repair in Baltimore area?

My brother-in-law has a pair of real nice Mirage OM-5 speakers with built-in powered subs. One of the subs isn't functioning, and neither of us is a very capable electronics guy. We checked for loose wires, but that's about the extent of our troubleshooting. I suspect the amp has gone bad, but . The closest Mirage repair place is 250 miles from us, and shipping isn't really an option with this beast. They're probably ~15 years-old, and I'm not sure Mirage even supports them anymore. Anybody know someone in the Baltimore area who fixes such things?

Hello,
Give the guys at Soundscape a call they are 410-889-1134 after 12:00 on Monday. You could also try Gramophone in Towson to see. Both good stores.

Thank you Ken! I'm familiar with both of those places, but never thought about them for repair.

No problem, I hope they can help.

Ken do both those places work on any gear or do they specialize in certain brands?

I've used Just Audio several times as they are the only NAD authorized repair shop for hundreds of miles around. I didn't particularly like the attitude of the owner but they knew what they were doing and got my problem resolved even thought they had to get NAD CS involved because it was a factory defect. Still they got me set-up with an upgraded replacement for the AVR that had the factory defect. -
Hey Joe,
I'm not sure, but if not they can probably steer someone in the right direction.
