Recently purchased RT55's (frozen driver)......

I recently purchased a pair of RT55's from a forum member. I have been hearing for a long time that these are a true gem in the polk offerings and wanted to experience them for myself. The member gave me a great deal and packed them very well. During shipment, however, one of the drivers magnets detached and was rolling around inside the cabinet. I got it taken apart and the whole magnet structure was unglued from the speaker. I removed the driver and attempted to put it back, but as soon as i place it, it freezes up the speaker. I am really anxious to use these and see why they are so well regarded. I am wondering if there is an easy fix for this.
Question 1 is: can this be fixed without replacing the driver?
Question 2: Does anyone have a replacement driver (MW7017) that they would be willing to sell?
Pictures are below so if anyone has any advice, I would appreciate it.
Thanks very much in advance,
Shawn
