inverted center?

This might have been asked before, but couldn't find any info by doing a search.

I have a CS10 and I just saw in the description from Polk that the center can be flipped upside down. Is this true? Any problem by doing this?

    It's true, I am doing it right now, no problem doing it. Just reverse your grill:D

    I have my csia4 inverted right now. It is below the tv so this helps with the sound stage. You will have no issues at all.

    I have the lsi center channel.I don't think it would work for me.The box is rectangular and would only lower the tweeter for me.Would you flip on an odd shaped center or what am I missing.I flipped an older cs series center to change the angle but it looks like it would not help me.My shelf spacing comes into play as I can't really adjust the angle....eddie

    Why wouldn't it be? If you read it online somewhere, but it wasn't in the manufacturer's documentation, then by all means question it.

    Or, perhaps you really just wanted to see if others were doing it. :confused: Never mind, carry on... this just struck me as funny, and elicited a response. No offense intended! :)

    I am sure the LSiC can be flipped over (mine is) but that is not to say it works best for you in that orientation.

    No problem at all!! you're right just wanted to know if anyone else did. I think it was a bit weird for me the first time I read it.

    Yes, the thing is that the CS10 has an angled top, so it makes a difference in orientation if you turn it over, but perhaps there is no difference at all with the LSiC as it is rectangular.
