“Pedophiles have campaigned to push their point of view that 'pedophilia is OK and doesn’t hurt children' on Wikipedia,”

I would like to start a campaign of my own explaining how wonderfully pleasant it is to crucify pedophiles. The nails in the hands feel GOOD, not bad....

Sick, sick ****. I don't think I could truly describe the amount of physical pain I'd like to impart on these freaks without getting banned here....

This is a sad side effect of free information. It also puts wikipedia in a very awkward postion that <expletives> like this are using their website. In this situation, doing the right thing could easily lead to a slippery slope where they end up doing the wrong thing further down the road. If anything, I pity the folks running wiki for being put in this position by those sorts of individuals.

Last I read, there were people lobbying in Ohio to make it illegal for prisons to give pedophiles the special jumpsuit that makes them immediately identifiable. Apparently it's 'unfair.' Tell that to the guys who are doing hard time because they got desperate trying to get food or diapers for their little ones...

I say give them a pink jumpsuit and make them share a cell with Tiny and Bubba.

few things I find odd about the article. I don't know that many people that give out homework assignments to research this type of topic in schools, or to children of a young age. I could possibly see maybe in a high school class in some weird way but not really. I can't really see where this would fit in and what teacher would request the students to study it. Maybe in a college level course but still, odd.

2nd I really don't know of any teachers that would accept Wikipedia as a reliable source. In college you would be laughed at (or at least in any of the classes I had which you had to use a formal search engine for any papers you had to write). High school was the same way and would not accept anything that quoted it because as the article states, its a free form wiki page, anyone can edit ect, not something I would want to have my students learning from.

I find it almost equally disturbing that they are um,...probing deeper into this.
FoxNews.com also found hundreds of posts on BoyChat linking to Wikipedia pages, including "Child Sex Tourism," which provides detailed information on the different laws regarding child prostitution in countries around the world, and which links to newspaper articles that highlight “hotspots” like a section of Mexico City where child exploitation is rampant and unchecked by law enforcement

If you didn't know where to find this stuff before, you know now.

"But Nigam, who is co-chairman of President Obama's Online Safety Technology Group and sits on the board of the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, said it's not that complicated. "Almost every other social networking site has taken steps to clean up their sites, except for Wikipedia," he said"1.

    Wait a minute>>>>WAIT A MINUTE>>>>>THIS CAME OFF FOX NEWS?????

You'd be shocked at all the pedophiles (registered) living in your area. God knows how many pedophiles are roaming around that aren't registered.

As far as I'm concerned they are the lowest form of human life. Is it a mental disorder, I don't know but it is a truely a sick, disgusting thing to prey on children.

Public Crucifiction the way the Romans did it, nails & proper seating to prolong the agony, is what I recomend for a second offense but that would be cruel and unusual punishment, but that is what they desearve. Many say the death penalty is not a deterant against murder . . . well if pedophiles knew that they would be hung on a cross for a few days until dead I believe they would change their preferences.

I'm a forgiving guy but pedophiles in my book don't desearve forgiveness at least not on a second offense.

^ +1. Not that I am terribly against the ACLU (even though they don't defend a person's right according to the 2nd amendment), but they defended these wacko's.

Wait. Isn't anyone going to wonder how this article makes any sense? Pedophiles? Wikipedia? You don't think this is just an attack on Wikipedia from Fox News?

That is the most rediculous statement you've made man! Unless of course you were joking but I don't see any emoticons.

FOX was just providing an information source for their audience, cut them some slack. :D
