I am in the process of setting up a 5.1 in-wall system in my new theatre room. I am toying with the idea of using 3 x LC265i for LCR Configuration and a pair of LC80F/X for rears. The LC265i centre would be mounted horizontally. I know the LCiC is the centre for the LCi series, but I think the LC265i would be better as it is a 3way vs 2way and has a dedicated midrange.

Just wondering if anyone has mounted the LC265i horizontally before?

Thanks

I would vote against it as the speaker wasn't designed that way. It would probably sound OK but the dispersion will be weird. If you could keep it standing normal I would say go for it.
