Replacing Peerless tweeters in Monitor 10A

One tweeter is not operating in my 10As. The fuse is fine, wiring is fine; the other tweeter works when transferred to the bad speaker. I understand that the Peerless HF1000 tweeter is no longer manufactured. Can anyone suggest obtaining a matching replacement, or which 'other' tweeter would be an effective/close-to-matching replacement, or general issues in tweeter replacement? thanks.

    I have a pair of peerless tweeters I am thinking of selling. Let me know if you are interested.
    Polk HT system 1: LSIC, LSI25 mains, LSI F/X rears, Lsi F/X rear centers,
    Yamaha RX-V2500 System, Carver A753 3 channel amp.

    Even though the fuse looks OK, sometimes there is poor contact between the fuse and the fuse holder due to corrosion. If you don't have contact cleaner readily available, remove the fuse and use a piece of speaker wire as a jumper to test it.

    Oops, NM, I see where the other tweeter works in the other cabinet.

    Make sure you are getting the right ones. Are they marked 7514___ (Made in Denmark) or 5514 (made in USA). Being 10As they should be 5514__ HOWEVER there are about 4 versions of that one AND THEY DO NOT SOUND THE SAME. Do you have a picture of the back of your tweeter???
