polk 1.2 vs Kef 105 /3

I am going to audition a set of KEF 105 series 3. Outside of foam rot, can anyone tell me what to look for on them? I have a set of 1.2 non tl now. Can anyone tell me how they would stack against them?
They do have the kube 200 that goes with the KEF speakers also.
