SR6500 Mounting Diameter

I have a set of SR6500s and need mounting adapters. When I check the spec sheet it says mounting diameter for the set is 142.9mm for the Mid and 44.5 for the tweeter. When I measure the adapter plate that ships with the mid I get a measurement of 149mm and 43mm for the tweeter pod. Am I missing something? which measurement should I use? Any one run into this before? Thanks for the help.

    I used a dial caliper. I measured the inside of the mounting cup where the tweeter sits and measured the diameter of the speaker opening in the mounting bracket that shipped with the mids.
