I may have to get one of these to fly around the livingroom. They have a carbon fiber one that I am considering but this video is cooler.

That's actually pretty cool. I had that EXACT same 'briefcase' for storing my controller and various other items for my R/C car, though of course with different foam inside. It's a very cheap case, but does the job just fine.George Grand wrote: »

Not too bad given the weight and size. Hobby stuff like that is always somewhat high in price. I went ahead and ordered the carbon fiber one and a few extra batteries and charger. Should be fun but now I'll need a cover for my turntable. :eek:Vinyl, the final frontier...

What a POFS!!! LOL

We bought a little helicopter two Christmas' ago. It is so cool to fly around the living room but it took a bit of practice to keep from crashing it every minute.

I've noticed you never have anything positive to add, farmboy. Is it the methane in the pig manure that makes your attitude so crappy about everything?
Care to give me some examples ? I dont think there are any and you just made that up to provoke a reaction from another forum member .... disgraceful !!
I am a member of RC clubs and groups so I'm more than qualified to fashion an opinion on a gimmick costing $300 . For that money you could buy both the blade mcx coaxil and a blade msr fixed pitch helicopter that you can crash as many times as you want without repair . The blade indoor heli's are the most stable in the world and handle just like a 500 -
Cool My oldest son and some friends are in this hobby. This little plan sure does have a healthy price tag at 300$ but like any other passionate hobby money is not an object at times.DARE TO SOAR:

Here's a perfect example. You could have posted the above, and it would have been better than just this:polkfarmboy wrote: »What a POFS!!! LOL
The reaction to that reply wasn't out of line.polkfarmboy wrote: »Care to give me some examples ? I dont think there are any and you just made that up to provoke a reaction from another forum member .... disgraceful !!

I take no offense to your opinion and welcome it as much as someone who says "what a cool toy". I do have to say that you have no appreciation for the hobbiest attitude. There are so many directions to take, sorry you don't see the coolness of anything other than your own direction.

Awful quiet all of a sudden.

This same thread came up about 6 months ago.
I've got two mini coaxials: both lama's. I'm a tinkerer, so I had fun tweaking them into smooth flight.
I want to get a bigger brushless heli to fly outdoors, but crashes are always hard on the wallet. Something like a HoneyBee.
