X....I use to kinda in some ways, every blue moon, see your side of things. And I kinda felt bad for ya getting bashed so badly around here. But dude I gotta say, you seem to just invite conflict on this forum. Yeah the original post was meant as a light hearted joke. But you know good and well what happens around here when anyone talks about cables. And you continue to try and set the spark.

And then when someone calls you on it. You want to talk about how they like to call you names and use foul language or whatever. You love conflict and drama or what?

What happened? I was enjoying this thread... I'm a n00b, and I know better than to start in about cables. It doesn't go anywhere nice...

Don't worry Decal, neither does the guy with 18K + Postings. And, Decal just so you have the count, Hearingimpared has been banned twice, X? Zero.

    And your comment helps "HOW"?

Just cool down and "don't get your knickers in a knot", Joe.

The original post is a satire on audiophile myths, as are my comments.
Take this with a sense of humor and enjoy a good laugh as others have.:)

BTW, I thought you were ignoring me. ;)

If you don't like what I or someone else says, please ignore me or them.

    Have a nice day. :)

your myths are concerning topics not related to the original post. Also reported for brand bashing, trolling, and derailing the thread from the original intent which was to be a funny audiogon add in which you then moved it to a cable thread which it had no use to go that way.

Well they won't be any worse than the magic rocks.

Hockey pucks apparently are used by some audiophiles for spike bases or LP clamps.

Cool, now we got us a new cable thread!

You know, taping a weight on the interconnect right where the cable starts before a bend could make a difference. First of all it can change the resonance of the assembly. If it resonates at the right frequency it could either inhibit the cable from vibrating at a given frequency or cause it to vibrate more. So what would that do? Vibration of a cable around a bend will cause the capacitance to vary inducing voltages which could contribute to a dynamic change of sound.

I may have to try this. ;)

    And your comment helps "HOW"?

They help as much as Hearingimpaired knocking someone for having 30 posts. Maybe you shouldn't pick and choose and show your obvious bias.

Maybe you should have asked that question of him?

I can't wait to see what else these guys put up at Audiogon. It is truly funny stuff. It's in the same vein of humor that you see with the 3 wolves t-shirts at Amazon. Read the comments, priceless.

Maybe decal shouldn't have chosen to knock hearingimpared. Obviously your biased towards x. What have either of you ever contributed besides grief to CP? Why is it when you and x crap in a thread it leads to this, juju?

as jinjuku once told me in a PM is that he's "just trying to flush the garbage" out of club polk. such a great thought don't ya think? regardless its getting annoying when people say they are not starting a fight when they know full well that their comments will and continue to say things yet play dumb when they are call on it....
