Looking for a pair of efficient bookshelves. They will be running off my Peachtree Decco integrated.

Thought I'd wait until later to purchase a 'really good' set of speakers and tube amp, but for now I'll take something much more budget friendly.

Let me know what you have, preferably in the $400 and below.

How about a mint pair of SDA CRS+ bookshelves?....not sure if I'm willing but not sure if you even want them.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

Would the Peachtree's internal amp suffice?

That's all I'll have to run them off of until a couple of months from now.

As long as the Peachtree's amp is common ground, they should be ok.

I run a pair of these on my PC rig and IMO think they would hard to beat for the money, though some assembly is required.

Yes, it's a hybrid with SS output and a single tube input. As a comparison I sometimes run one of those Dared MP-5 hybrid integrated's at 15 wpc with a pair of 5B's which are a similar load to the CRS+'s and I have no issues. The Peachtree has quite a bit more drive and reserves, so that will not be an issue. You'd be foolish not to take Doro up on his offer if he can let go of them.

If he's willing to let them go then I'll take them :)

Wonder what the cost of shipping would be though.
