Are the SL6502 and Sl6507 equivalent? Can you swap one for the other? They look physically exactly the same, but also realize that doesn't mean a thing.

My response is: If you need 60 seconds to respond in one sentence, you probably should't be evaluating Polk speakers.....

From what model/series does the SL6507 come from?

Other than sounding different, they might be crossed over at a different frequency meaning if you toss one tweeter in place of another you might get a 'bump' in the freq. response which may not come off as sounding natural.
    Truck setup
    Alpine 9856
    Phoenix Gold RSD65CS

    For Sale
    Polk SR6500
    Polk SR5250
    Polk SR104

Never mind Freddie. I just read it has a poly dome, not a trilaminate dome. I guess the poly dome looks like a trilaminate dome, but probably sounds different.
