I'm blistering the numbers off my CC this morning ordering the bits and pieces to build this piece.
I'm at the point where I have to choose the cable between the AI-1 and the each speaker. Would an Audioquest Type 4 with bananas on each end be a reasonable first choice? I'll be using WireWorld as the main speaker wire and wonder if I should have the same brand on both?
Opinions?

Yes, as would Canare Star Quad, something like 4S11. I've bought mine from here and they have great service and IIRC about the lowest price going @ $1.19/foot. The Audioquest can get pricey and the Canare is really the same thing. You don't have to go crazy with the cable from the Dreadnaught. Canare is excellent for this application.

Gordon,
I agree with H9 that you don't need to go crazy with really expensive speaker cable for the AI-1. I use Goertz (Alpha-Core) Python MI2 speaker cable for my main speakers. I ended up buying some 8 ft. in length PNF audio speaker cable for the AI-1. The sound is phenominal! Great SDA effect. Use a moderately priced speaker cable (I wouldn't go "cheap" either).
I got my box from this guy (Mark). http://customaluminumboxes.com/
He can make it any size you like. He did a pretty good job and that glossy black looks pretty good too. Maybe DK will let you know where he got his if that one is the one you want. I hope this helps you out some.

Taken from a recent Audioholics reply regarding "Club Polk" and Polk speakers:
"I'm yet to hear a Polk speaker that merits more than a sentence and 60 seconds discussion."
My response is: If you need 60 seconds to respond in one sentence, you probably should't be evaluating Polk speakers.....
