What type of cable is used to connect an Onkyo 707's "outs" to the "ins" on these amps?
Thanks,
Dave

Unfortuntely, I'm in my office without access to my receiver but have been trying to get a cost estimate comparing the two 5 channel amps and would include any new cable.
What started my curiosity is, from the the rear photos of both amps, they appear to show a single post in put at each of the five channel "in" locations.
Can this be right? or am I not seeing something?Marantz AV7005

yep, embrace the horror....each channel has it's own RCA cable.
there is good budget cable out there.....signal, blue jeans (if they are still around). can always go the used route (worked famously for me). if your doing 5.1, you will need 5 rca cables plus a sub cable.Living Room 2 Channel -

I was just a bit put off by the fact the amps didn't have left/right inputs. Guess that's what I'm used to seeing. Not too interested in budget cables - only getting the correct ones.
Not sure either of these amps has a sub out, either way, the Onkyo has two which I'll continue to use for my two powered subs.
Leaning toward the NAD at this point despite its lower power rating. My gear resides inside a cabinet and NAD has been noted on this board and elsewhere for running cool.Marantz AV7005

Those inputs are the equivalent of "left and right" inputs. A 2 channel amp has left/right inputs...because it's only powering a left and a right channel. A 5 channel amp has left/right/center/surround left/surround right inputs though.
Each channel only requires a single cable to be hooked up, since each individual channel is only powering a single speaker.
Signal Cable Analog II's are nice cables that won't break the bank. Any analog cable with an RCA connector will work though. The nirvana inducer-
