Feels like it's been a lifetime since I've been away.

Many of you are probably wondering what happened; long story short, I'm going through a painful divorce and I'm now in CA. Finally got my PC sent out to me, and now that I'm back on here I've got a few things to settle.

Agfrost, I'm sending out your cables now that I have your address.

And Polk, I haven't returned the hitmaster I demo'd. I will attempt to arrange something with my now soon to be ex-wife but if it doesn't fall through I'd like to pay the full retail value of the unit.

Hopefully all has been well while I was gone!

We've missed you around here...it's good to see you back.

Now, the big question. Did you manage to hang on to your audio gear through out the course of your move?

    Thanks guys.

As for the audio gear goes, I've managed to hang on to a few things. I brought the Moscode amp, music angel pre, power conditioner, cables and LSi7s (which I recently sold) but I had to let go of my Magneplanar and Polk speakers (RT1000P's and new PSW111 subwoofer).

On the upside, I did purchase a Peachtree Decco integrated which I'm loving! I'm on the search for some efficient bookshelves now, life is dull without music!

On the other hand though, I think I want to downsize so I'm reluctantly selling my amp and pre, and will utilize the Decco to its fullest potential as an integrated. The DAC portion is absolutely amazing though given its price and features.

    Welcome back!

Sorry about the divorce? I just found out, last night, in fact, that a close friend back in the states is getting a 'divorce'--came as a SHOCK to all of us. No one suspecting a thing was wrong!

I do remember that, for the longest time SDA after SDA appeared out of nowhere here. I do still have my Moscode so I wouldn't mind picking up a pair if I can't score some decent monitors.

Don't even worry about it lol.

The weather is one of the reasons why I disliked Chicago, it just can't compare to that of California weather.

Since I've sold the LSi's, I've got my eye on a pair of efficient bookshelves. It's still up in the air.

Believe it or not, they're definitely on my 'to-buy' list. They'll be paired with my integrated which I've been enjoying via AKG cans. I'm still in the process of burning the tube in, but it already sounds beautiful given the built-in DAC. :D:D:D

Hmmm, well with that being a month from now I don't see why I couldn't try. Moneys tight so I won't be able to stay at a motel/hotel though. Let's talk later about that one.

I'd appreciate that and you know what, consider it a done deal if you wouldn't mind shipping them here. I really liked them enough to have them in a rig of my own :)

Now, may I ask...what's replacing these? I'm curious!

Eh, i can ship them, i'll just pick HB27's brain to make sure they're shipped properly. :D

As for what's replacing them... not set in stone yet. Hopefully another set of Paradigms of some sort, but i would also "settle" for Mirage.
