25ft cable

I want to purchase a cable for my sub. I know I should keep the distance as short as possible. Would there be any significant sound degradation from a 25ft cable vs a 15ft one?

It's running up my wall, through the ceiling and down the back wall to my sub sitting near-field to the left of my chairs.

Monoprice or Bluejeans cables. I run a 20ft sub cable from BJC with no problems, cost a bit more than the monoprice stuff, but either will work well. My entire HT is built around Signal and BJ cables. Pick your poison, both are great.

Thanks all. I picked up a 25ft mono-price cable to test out. If I don't like the results I'll try out the BJC one.


I do have a BJC cable from my CDP to AVR and love it.

The longer the better IMHO, allows you to find the correct spot for the sub without having to worry about the cable being long enough. I use a 25' cable myself.
