RIP Jimmy! I remember him stating back in the '70s that he was glad that it was fashionable to wear ones hair longer this way he could cover his ears a bit. It's good to see celebrities being able to laugh at themselves rather than take themselves so seriously.

The reverse side of "Big Bad John" ?

"I won't go hunting with you Jake (but I'll go chasin' women".

Jimmy Dean was cool. He introduced "Rowlf" to the world on "The Jimmy Dean Show" way back in the early 60's. And his sausage: Mmmmmmmm......

All in all, a good life for a good man. RIP Jimmy.

Grew up eating the sausage Mike, but I didn't hear BBJ until I just happened to hear it on an OLDIES station years ago. But for the most part, I don't listen to country music unless it's a crossover pop/country hit.

He didn't make it into the Country Music Hall Of Fame until 2010. What the heck? I just checked on Wiki and that is the same Rowlf that was on The Muppet Show. Weird.
