Just thought I'd share my Sat. night tinker....
I had a crappy old "Gemini 20" radio antenna that was bringing me down. Plastic sucks so I dug out an old scrap of Ipe (Brazilian Walnut) cracked a beer and fired up the router.
I removed all the bits and pieces from the old case and replaced the lousy plastic knob with a tone control knob off a fender telecaster that I had sitting around.
And here it is in it's new home.
If i can just find some rubber feet to pull off something else then the net cost will be ............... $0
Now If I can only finish the cabinet it's sitting on.......:p
