Krell Kav 300i

I have been looking for a good deal on a pre with ht bypass, and have also been considering integrated as well. I can afford to spend more on a nice integrated because I can sell my current b&k to make up some of the money. I found this for a reasonable price on audiogon and close enough to pick it up. I hope it will be a noticable improvement over my b&k and pioneer elite for music. Im excited to pick it up early next week.

    I dont know much about Krell, but I've heard they are quite humble and will make your speakers sing.

    The KAV 300i was on my short list when I was shopping for an Integrated w/ HT Bypass - read some good stuff on it.

    The only reason I didn't get this was it is a bit low on inputs and I had HT, a phono (no phono inputs on the Krell), CD, SACD (2-channel).

    If the number of inputs works for you - look for a good deal on audiogon - they pop up fairly regularly.

    H9: If you don't trust what you are hearing, then maybe you need to be less invested in a hobby which all the pleasure comes from listening to music.
