which will dig deeper?

For years i have watched you lsi owners on here rant and rave about them. I want some:) But i have read some amazing things about these and can't help but wonder which is better. Which would have a little better bottom end? I just sold my M70's so i imagine both will be a huge improvement.

Their specs are pretty vague. Is that 32hz at -3db(doubtful), -6db, -10db, or who knows what...?

I guess i forgot to say what lsi i was comparing the monitor audio to. The 15's. Face.... for some reason i cant load your link for some reason. I have read some pretty great reviews on the MA rx8. I haven't seen anything describing flabby bass but like i said i can't load your link so i can't read what you have. I want something that will not leave me wanting a sub for 2 channel listening.

Depending on the amount of bass you want, the 15's could leave you wanting a sub. I love mine without a sub, but that's just my preference. Also, I've done the driver mod which helped the low end on the 15's.

Can't comment on the Monitor Audio except to say they look pretty sweet.

My thoughts too. I will have to say that I"m not a "Spec guy" and think they can be taken too seriously.

Your ears are the best judge. Make sure you audition with your own source material you're familiar with.

Find a used set of Legacy Focus 20/20's....I have a set and people ask me where I hide the subwoofer...don't have one obviously.

Hmmmm - I think I would stick with the LSis. If you are sincerely interested in towers that extend low into frequency, how about the Klipsch RF series towers? I'd demo all the speakers I was considering.

Thanks for all the feed back. Sadly i do not have to opportunity to demo alot of speakers. There is not alot of variety nearby. I do know that i sure loved my M70's when i first heard them (they were the first polks i had ever heard) but found i got bored of them and wanted more. They had decent bottom end but lacked a little i found. I can't seem to find a pair of 15's anywhere used. They must be pretty decent if hardly anyone ever sells them.
