I have a pioneer head unit running 22 x 4 watts with 2 polk DB460 in the front and 2 polk DB650's in the rear.... I am now installing a pioneer a nd-g500 gateway four channel amps rated at 12 x 4.My question is with the amp is the system now putting out 34 x 4 watts ??? If this is the case will it be safe to add 2 more front + 2 more rear speakers. The speakers are the same as the ones already install all are polk.Picked all 8 speakres for $ 40.00 on craiglist...

It looks like its gives you about what you already have. Its rated at 50 watts by 4 but only 22 watts RMS by 4. I would not run it into a two ohm load so you can only run 4 speakers with it.
