High-pitched noise coming from center channel

So, I woke up this morning and I can hear a very loud and constant high-pitched ring coming from the center speaker. It changes in volume when I turn the volume up or down.
This wasn't happening last night, and the TV/surround was off all night long. Any suggestions?

Odd...
I turned the receiver off and then back on, to see if the ringing stopped...it didn't.
I switched the inputs from DVD (which I use for my blu-ray player and my computer) to a different channel...and the ringing stopped. When I switched back to DVD, the ringing was gone."Dr Dunn admitted that his research could also be interpreted as evidence that women are shallower than men. If your center channel cable is long enough, try hooking it up to a front speaker and see if the problem follows it.Try using the front speaker cable as a center channel cable and see if the problem goes away.Recheck the rca center channel connection. That is what I would do for starters.I'm sure these Polk Vet's have other ideas as well. Good Luck, Eddie
