More DIY Speaker Cable's and Interconnects

Wish I could claim these were my own diy self but they came from an article and I couldn't resist testing them. Being an audiophile from the 80's I learned that pricier equipment responded to better cables. Today my stereo amp is an Onix Tube amp with much tube rolling. I found these cable's are able to produce a wide soundstage, fairly deep and tonaly accurate. Sound really good on a HT system. You will read all about these in the article. I need a longer set so I'm off to Walmart to see if they still have what I need. I never tried the interconnect's so I have no imput on these. But the cable's are worth (cheap) the admission of trying. Instead of buying the connector's I simply tinned the end's and went with it. I felt this should go under tweak's because it's a ridiculously low price for a great set of cables. Link: http://www.6moons.com/audioreviews/whitelightning/moonshine.html

By the way, you can dress these up with tech flex if you want and they look great. John

I think I'll get some of the wire and use the cardas rcas I have and make some. Compare them to the MITs.

Hm...are we talking about making audio cables out of extension cords?

    No thanks.

Could be a fun project...I guess. But, I definitely won't be trying it anytime soon. I'm fine with my Audioquests.

    Enjoy.:)

I'm going to try this. For the money spent, it won't be too much of a loss if I don't like them. :D

Jerry built a pair,,for the money,it's not much,,kinda fun,,and they might just surprise you,,these are not giant killers,,but surprisingly very good,,for a keeper cable I'd still go with the Canare cable though.Have fun.:)

Well, this (tweek?) is intended to interest the diy guy's and I just wanted to throw a nice cheap alternative out there. In defense of the canare's I have read that they're better. Any recipe link's for these? But, the moonshine cable's are very good too. Before you go to Walmart something else I read elsewhere: The right one has SJTW E56365 written on the wire with Woods engraved on both male\female plugs. I just hope Walmart still carry's these as the original article was written in 2007.
