Has anyone ever heard of Pilot?? I have an old integrated that belonged to my college roommate....he gave it up when we got our first jobs. I was storing it at my parents' house and it's been sitting in mine for over 10 years now. At the very least it needs its POTS cleaned as one channel is temperamental...but clean when it does play.

Was this a P.A. amp or a usable stereo amp? I know nothing about Pilot. it sounds like one of those brands that was a 'house' brand for some dealer...20 or more years ago?? I can't give any numbers because I'm not in the U.S.

Thanks

Pilot tube amps are well built and desireable.
The SS stuff for the most part was lacking and ended up sending Pilot down the drain.
I have an old 260 EL34 amp I pulled from an old console I will NEVER get rid of.

Their vacuum tube equipment is good and very nice looking. As the previous poster indicated, their ss stuff was pretty unremarkable.

Lots of Pilot info at www.audiokarma.org One of the members there (WhiteSE, who is also at www.audioasylum.com ) is a big, big fan.
