Anybody heard these? I am looking to add some speakers to a computer system. They will be fed from an Asus Xonar D2x Sound Card.

I really don't want to go w/ an external amp w/ this set-up for now, so I am looking for relatively inexpensive (but as nice as possible ;)) powered monitors...

Thoughts?

I have searched, but there wasn't much about these speakers on this forum...
HT: Ninja Master LSi9s, Ninja Master LSiC, Slightly Modded LSiFXs, Modded LSi7s, Outlaw LFM-1 EX and Polk PSW125
Outlaw 970 Preamp, Outlaw 7700 Amp, Velodyne SMS-1, Oppo BDP-83,
2 APC H-15s and a Panamax 5400 for good measure ;)
Stereo: DIY Alix Music Server, DODD Audio Battery Tube Buffer, Modded DAC-60 and MF V-Link (for now), DIY Silver ICs, Battery Powered Class D SDS-254 Amp, and GR-Research N2X Speakers

All right, so I found a great deal on an Open Box set of these from One Call, so I thought I would update this thread...

I am VERY impressed with these speakers. Enough so that I am tempted to take them down to compare to my modded LSi7s or LSi9s

As I said in the original post, they are fed by an Asus Xonar D2x Sound Card. I am playing soley FLAC files and have been amazed at the soundstage and imaging using these as nearfield monitors. We have also played DVDs and streamed Netflix and in all cases, they have done an amazing job. To extend the low end a little I got a great deal on a little Final S110 sub. Again, nothing crazy, just a little sub for a computer set-up...

I have been upgrading the system a piece at a time also to judge the changes. First up was supposed to be a set of DIY speaker cables, but I hadn't done my homework on the binding posts on the speakers. So, first up was a Signal Cable Silver Resolution mini cable for the input. I instantly noticed more clarity and a quieter background. Next will be the speaker cable to replace the stock 16 gauge crap, and then I will try making a power cable...
