ohms for REAL dummies 101 lol:
Can't figure out which sub i need - SR124 or SR124-DVC, mostly cuz of it's ohms.
Let's see if i'll be able to figure it out by seeing what amps are used for them.
Please state which of the 2 you have, 1 or 2 and what amp(s) pushint it.

2 SR124DVC subs all voice coils wired in parallel to present a 1 ohm load. It actually drops to as low as 0.875 ohms btw. But don't let me confuse you here. Powered by my Rockford Fosgate T1500-1bdcp which does 1885 watts into 1 ohm RMS.Dodge Ram 1500 SLT Quad Cab 2007

I was running my sr124dvc off my pdx 1,600 and my pdx 1.1000, EIther amp is fine and sounded terrific.
