Hey gang....I've gotten a few pings from some of you...and I know I've been in absentia for a little while.

Anyhow, fear not, I've not fallen off the face of the earth....just been busier than a one-legged man in a butt kicking contest. We've got a HUGE inspection coming up in about ten days so the last couple months have been pretty much preparing for that....and, I'm 'deploying' again first of August.

One last time, BDT will be involved in Operation DENY HOLIDAYS. I'll be in lovely Kuwait until mid-Feb 2011.....so, unfortunately, Polkfest is out again this year too. FAAAAAK. The upside is, I turn in my retirement paperwork 1 Jan....so, the end is in sight.

Anyhow, that's the latest and greatest....I'm not out of touch on purpose and I owe some of you phone calls and so forth and I'll get to it...just been freaking ridiculously busy lately.

    At least you don't have to maintain two residences anymore. That's gotta be a drag.

    I will until Jan 2012....I can drop my paperwork to retire a year out but won't actually retire until Jan 2012.
