Looks like someone did some operation and used transplants "close enough" to work. (Obviously both are MW6500, just one set with cardboard ring...others without.)

Still funny looking.

EDIT: No affil, Guy is probably asking too much anyway.

    eeh...That makes it look really weird...lol

    I love the earlier Monitor's that had the paper rings around the MW's/PR's. My 7A's have the paper ring drivers. I think it gives them a much more attractive look...it breaks up the all black baffles very nicely.


    Price is a little on the high side, but not bad considering that it's local pickup only. Condition does look very good, aside from the mismatched drivers. IMO, the mismatched drivers should lower the value some though, as it definitely detracts from the aesthetics.
