Got this from another great Polkie, and never really used it. I bought it sealed, NIB. I opened it, logged maybe 1 1/2 hours on it, and put it away again. Everything functions as new.
I just don't have the room, and would like to see this nifty little piece find a good home and more importantly, get used.
Also including an extra set of Russian Tubes.
Pics to come later today, or tomorrow, but here's a generic to get the ball rolling:

Price is $200 plus actual shipping, and includes the integrated amp, iPod dock, speakers, and associated cables that were included in the kit. Paypal ok, but prefer if payment sent as a gift to avoid the fee...
This is a great sounding little amp, and a great way to get into tubes on the cheap. Thanks for looking.

Think I may have to jump on this. After my wife took over the main home theater to watch TV, I've wandered back to my cave without audio. Any opinions of the speakers that are included? Now I only would need an ipod..... Before I commit though, any idea how much the shipping to 32205 would be?
Thanks,
James -

I've heard that the speakers are adequate until you can upgrade, but the gem is the amp. I've got one of these still sitting in a sealed box.
The amp has 2 sets of RCA inputs, so you can run a second source (CD player?) as well as the iPod (or something else).
Great deal! -
I'll happily take it then assuming that the shipping isn't something insane. I was looking about on it and it sounded like it only had one aux jack for additional inputs. With 2 RCAs I'm sure I could find something interesting to hook up to it. Saw a local craigslist ad for some PSB bookshelves. May have to look those up again as they might be an excellent compliment to this.
I was getting very close to biting on a Tweak City Audio gizmo and WAF combo. Guessing the amp from this would be an improvement, but lower quality speakers.
This by the way would be my introduction to the world of tubes. That part of the hobby has exceeded my budget so far. -
Lessisnevermore is a solid seller and this used to belong to my brother and it was sold un-opened for the same reason, no use. I have two of these one I use one is a back-up and they respond well to tube rolling.
You can use ECC85/6AQ8 or Russian 6N1P in them. I love the ECC85 Telefunkens the best. Nice little amps that sound really good.
I will be selling one in the near future as well because the back-up just never gets used.

It has 2 RCA inputs, including the one that the iPod dock will occupy, just to clarify.
Thanks Brock! -
Probably a silly question, but is there a way to integrate a small sub into this setup?

Marinesciguy wrote: »Probably a silly question, but is there a way to integrate a small sub into this setup?
Not in a conventional manner, there are no pre-amp outputs. If the sub has speaker-level inputs, then yes, absolutely. Which model do you have/are you thinking of using? -
Sale pending.:)

Good! I can stop worrying about me wanting to buy it haha. I don't want to spend the money, but this thing looks awesome

Unfortunately, I don't have a spare sub. My main setup has a mfw-15 but it is occupied. I was thinking about picking up a small 8 to 10" to round this out later as I'm unsure if this setup will have discernible bass output? I haven't used a bookshelf type setup before and that combined with the tubes and lack of sub I'm unsure of how this whole setup would sound. So, I would just need to pick up something with speaker level inputs later? Or would this even need an additional sub (mostly just listening to a wide variety of music in a relatively small room).

I have the same amp (but not the dock or speakers) and I used it with (believe it or not) a pair of LSi9's at low to moderate volumes. Mind you I was using it in my office at work so I never really cranked it, but the LSi9's were pumping out some impressive bass even from this amp so it really doesn't need a sub. YMMV depending on your tastes and which speakers you'll be using.
However I did have it connected to a sub at one time--the sub I used was a MartinLogan Dynamo which has RCA inputs and outputs so I ran my source to the sub-in, then the sub-out to the amp. But I'm sure you can also just split the source RCAs to both the sub and the amp, and tune the xo frew on the sub a bit for the perfect blend (if the sub doesn't have that little extra rca output).
For what its worth, I'm not getting rid of this amp anytime soon.____________________

I don't see why not. Someone here (Heiney9?) has a YouTube video of one of these driving some Monitors (5? 7?) and sounding great! -
I think i'll jump in line for this too. Does this really have a USB DAC too? I can't find any pictures of its rear.. so does it have two analog inputs and a usb input?
Even if the DAC is terrible, seems like you get a lot of value for $200, sounds like the amp alone would be worth a shot for something to play around with

I don't wish to speak for the seller, but I don't think this version has a DAC. -
oh ok, I was just curious since I was googling around and they all kept mentioning a DAC.. they must not make this one anymore? I'm having a hard time finding information on it2-Channel - So far...

Nope, sorry. No DAC in this unit.
Still a great value! -
The Dac was a nice convenience but it wasn't that great."Appreciation of audio is a completely subjective human experience.
