Like the title says I'm looking for any opinions on a vintage SAE PA10 pre-amp. Has mm and mc phono inputs with switch adjustable capacitance and resistance on the mm stage. For $100 is this a decent unit? How would it compare with my current Carver C1?

I'm not familiar with this certain model of SAE. I've noticed them on CL lately though. I do know that SAE was considered to be very nice quality sound equipment up til the 202 series??? Someone else may know more about the company. I personally own a SAE T-101 tuner and can say it works great.

I have a complete SAE Two set that I am selling which has the PA-10 pre amp. It is nice vintage gear. I never had issues with mine and would not be selling it if I didn't have so much other gear. You will like it if you get it.
