I could go into more detail... but its just great. Had to post after watching some blu-rays last night & having the house shake with thunder & lightening scenes.

How do you like that Onkyo 608 THX Select receiver...with the exception of pre-outs, it seems to have a FULLY loaded feature set that seems unbeatable in that price category?

Info on the 708, 808 and 1008 is out on Onkyo's International site...for those interested?

Do you find that the 608 drives your m70s well by itself?

Yesterday, I got all the toys in my signature, hooked up the cs2 and m60s to the 608and was a little unsure about this setup. It didn't feel like the sound "filled" the room, my brother was saying that the tv did a better job of hitting all the notes then this setup. I will play with it tonight some more and hook up those a5s too.

    maybe i need a sub?!

I also have the 70's CS2' and 505 with Mirage Nano Sats in the rear with a Yamaha RX-V663. The sound with music, TV, DVD, Blu-Ray is awesome. I do have to keep my windows closed though even though I don't play anything very loud. It's just that the sound is so pure it carries very easily.
