Component Racks

Okay Im sure there is already a thread out there and I searched but couldnt find it.
Im looking for some links for some decent component racks. I need something that is a minimum of 6 shelves, but 7 or 8 would be ideal. Ive got both my HT and 2 Channel running out of the same rack right now, and the DVD player and Satellite tuner have had to move to the floor due to lack of room. Im upgrading the HT amps as well to run either monos or 2 channel + 3-5 channel amplified soon as well, so Ill need to support 3-4 amplifiers and a preamp (or two), so it needs to be built well. If you have a favorite source post away! Id like to find something under $1k, but can entertain racks that are a bit above that if they have some features that are superb.
Thanks in advance.

The great thing about their racks is you can keep adding tiers.
One warning though, inspect the rack when you receive it and make sure it is perfect. If you wait, you risk VTI Customer Service giving you a hard time. -

I made this rack using components from a company called 8020,inc.Their aluminum extrusions come in several sizes and you can configure your rack to what your needs are.I used 20x15 butcher block for the shelves. The rack is very solid even with no side supports, the shelves and legs are connected with double bolted brackets and sliding "t-bolts"(also available at 8020,inc.).There are several high end rack designers using this same material.I got an estimate from a rack designer for this layout,he wanted over $900.00,I have less than $300.00 invested in mine!!DIY is very rewarding and saves you a bundle of cash.
If you can't hear a difference, don't waste your money. -
I have used this place before. More of networking racks.

If you are interested in DIY, google the flexy rack. Its a very easy and effective DIY design which I would like to build when I get some cash. Plus, it's adjustable and can easily accomadate any number of shelves.
