another update on my 2B TL burn-in

ok...yesterday i had a mellow 5 hour session. no big change over the flatness i've been hearing.

today.....had some people over from about 11a to 6p. i had the volume at 12 o'clock, the whole time!:p i've never done that! it sounded great! like new speakers..those rdo198s are so lifelike..

on the cd bob marley 'rastaman vibration' the bass used to sound muddy. now it sounds like a concert. so loud and clear.

i'm sure i'm still on the burn-in schedule..but, today was a good frgn day with the sda's!!;):cool:

    Mike congrats... and the SDA's love more power.. so I think you pushing them like that only made them feel right at home and open up :D

    You're also making this tough on me trying to hold off doing the TL upgrade on mine :)

    i should point out: while the SDAs were singing and my amp was at 12 o'clock...most of the time we were at the pool..i have a CBS home and it's amazing how much it cuts down on the sound.
    whenever we'd congregate on the inside though, there were no complaints!
    the ladies were dancing:D that's about the best sign, i think

    Very cool!!

    Good to hear that you're happy with the improvements, since I'm going to be modding the XO's in my 2A's later this year. I'm also planning on modding them to use the 198's once the XO mods are burned in, and I've managed to get a feel for the overall sound of them with the 194's.

    I'm anticipating big improvements!:D
